Murray Weiss, President of Literal Media, has been an investment banker for over 20 years, with a focus in media & entertainment and structured finance.  He founded the first investment banking boutique firm that specialized in the securitization of intellectual property assets, and had worked extensively on financings for music publishing, recorded music and music licensing companies, individual songwriter/artists, film studios and television networks, film and television program libraries, professional sports teams, sports, entertainment talent, and fashion model management firms and fashion apparel companies.  He has consulted for a number of private equity funds regarding acquisitions in the literary copyright, music publishing and marketing service sectors.  He is responsible for the repositioning of Literal Media’s extensive literary holdings with the Hollywood film & TV and Broadway stage communities, for creating new revenue streams, ranging from graphic novels to merchandise licensing, for the Company’s literary assets and for acquiring ownership or representation rights to additional literary assets from estates and living authors.
